The Kimberly Perrott Memorial Dog Park, Est. 2006
Barrington Dog Park is RI's first fenced-in dog park. Founded in 2005, local dog walker & animal lover, Kimberly Perrott worked for over 2 years to get the town & state to approve the dog park. Sadly, she passed away in December 2005, before the park was officially opened in February 2006, but her legacy lives on!
Come and enjoy some friends, fun, and frolic. Local dogs and their pet parents frequent the Barrington Dog Park not only to get some fresh air, but we are building bonds with our dogs, as well as each other. All dog-friendly, healthy dogs are welcome. Please see our Guidelines section for some helpful tips to ensure your trip is both fun and safe for everyone.
Got skills?
We really need all paws on deck this Spring. Even if you can spare an hour, anything will help! We are hoping to add a Small Dog Section, as well as an Alternate Play Section for dogs who can be a little selective of their playmates or have toy possession challenges.
Conveniently located off Washington Road in Barrington,
or off Metropolitan Road in Riverside. Turn onto Haines Park Road and look for the yellow Little League fence bumpers. We are behind the last field.
